Managed to catch glimpses of the fireworks fest from Marina South while having dinner there with my colleagues. Yup a farewell function for those who have left and ORDed. Ha goodbye to Lumix, Keno and Vaccine!!! Finally went to try out para para machine again. Feels good to dance again~
Caught the Fireworks on Saturday with Cherieeee, ok lesson is that, get tickets for the seats next time... Tried some new Japanese Pasta restaurant at Marina Square. Alright the service standard was pretty good. Food was tasty.. But the portion is rather small so I found it rather overpriced... Haha will be back if I am rich again.
Been wet these few days... Rain with thunder all over during the weekend. Well weird huh?? Thought it was suppose to be the haze and hot period... Guess the global climate is changing and turning around again. Who knows, Singapore might even her temp dip below 20, then below 10 at last SNOW!!! Yukiiiiii!!! We can then enjoy 4 seasons, with 4 seasons of fashion and clothing... Our local fashion sense will improve as such.. yeah!! wishful thinking tt I got here. Haii... Fashion over here is just so boring coz we only live in rain or shine.. Oh well, tt's good, we wont need to spend so much on clothes as there's only one season..
Collected my race pack for AHM last Sunday... Went to try out some nepalese food around TP. Well it was pretty good and value for money... But I really wanna try is the Kway Chap at Blk 94 Toa Payoh Lor 4. Wow it looks good but its opening hours are pretty short, 6pm to 12.30am daily, closed on Mon.
Watched The Bourne Ultimatum yesterday evening with Cherieeee... goodness I slpt during some parts coz I was dead beat... The movie's good!! Thrilling, action pack and something to bring back. It reminded me of the movie, The Island. In Bourne, it tells a brainwashed man of his identity and purpose, manupilated by a mastermind to serve him. He snaps out somehow and fights his way to know the truth, gain his true identity and stop this atrocity. Yup, it might sound the extreme but it's possible. Whereas in the Island, the only diff is tt it deals with our technology so advanced, clones are created and used. They are needed only when their 'real' form needs a part of them. So the clones serve as a insurance for the master/owner. So some 'defects' break out of the faculty. A show with some moral lessons to bring back.
Some changes in the bus stops at orchard road and scotts. They have the display boards telling u the ETA of buses arriving at bus stops. Not very accurate (from what I have observed) but it's about there and serves as good gauge if u wanna go to the gents/ladies or get a quick from the convenience store...
