Fave of the week : Heart and Soul by Gankou Mai (Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny OP1)
It's been a few weeks, and finally I remembered to jote down my thoughts in this lil space of mine on the web. What I might discuss will not follow a chronological order as I'll type whatever comes to my mind.
It amaze me that my threshold is still pretty low... I still get agitated by the slightest thing possible esp. on the roads. Okay, although I cant drive on the road, I get totally exaberated when the car in front drives as though he has the whole day to travel from Jurong to Boon Lay; parents not leading their kids when crossing roads; and pedestrain walking as though the roads are named after their family... As compared to my dad who gets into a thrashing with his superior at work and followed by a series of unfortunate events for day, he doesnt act as f up as I do... Maybe its just the experience and time he has lived this world to realise and strengthen his threshold of tolerance... Gotta learn tt from him..
Signed up for another 10km this end may at Marina Bay. No uphills or downhilss this time round, just a normal run. Gonna take it lightly for this one since I only intend to beat myself and set a new record for my personal training. Also Signed up for the Milk Run this coming July too. Still in the midst of considering for other upcoming races like the Mizuno Wave Run, New Balance Real Run as well as the saucony 100 plus run...
Bought tickets for the last show of the season for the Phantom of the Opera by Broadway. Hope the last show will be good , the best one!! Haha, well basically we didnt book early thats why we only could settle for the last show. This is gonna be my very 1st time watching a musical play live in a theatre... Makes me feel as though as I am living into 19th century in the West where the nobles attended plays in the arts hall or theartres, english literature appreciation was very common then.
Caught Spiderman 3 last weekend... Okay the main lead seems to have put on weight!! His double chin is visible, also his tummy can be seen when he's in the spiderman costume! Ummm yeah what the hell is going on I wonder... All I can say is that its another American Propagating show to portray the triumph of good over evil and teaching good moral values to the public (coz tts what most ppl lack) Wonder why Superheroes of Marvel and DC are mostly dressed in red and blue?? Take spiderman, captain america and superman! Its suggestive that its for America to be seen in good light and bad coz the shows always seem to America in the light tt it's plagued by crimes and injustice... But all shows come with a lesson to learn is worth watching...
Sometimes I wonder... If I had been less careless.. If I had been stronger... If I had more willpower.... If I havent been injured.... If I havent this and that.... Maybe I could have done more... more than what I am doing now... Maybe not either.... It's just another contradiction in life, what i wish for may come true, may not come true... may be in best interest for u or work against you too.... *just some random thoughts gg thru my mind at this pt of time*
