Its the bday again!! this time it hit the 20... No longer a 1 something anymore... Haha ok it was alil more happening this time round coz it lasted a few days. As for today, met up with Cherie for lunch in town. Visited the good ol' Sushi Tei at paragon! Haha had her tried the salmon belly soup which seh initially refuted even a bite from it, but later became obsessed with it. And got a chance to have a the Apple Crumbie at Swenson's after such a long time... The last few times when I wanted have a try, it was always not avail. Well luckily this time it was around!! Had ice cream with a candle... Come to think of it I havent blown out a bday candle for 2 years.. lol
The Phantom of the Opera was indescribeable I must say... It was a really good production with everything so professionally done and not a bit I felt like dozing off or leaving the play for the gents. So unlike the previous performances I attended where I couldnt wait to leave. The singing was great, props were illustrative and timely changed, cast was professional, sequencing was excellent. Well as this is my 1st exposure to a literature production, I say wouldnt mind more of such. I didnt watch the movie before the play, got the basis I needed from the online encyclopedia, wikipedia! After the play, cin and I went for our usual beancurd dessert at Rochor Beancurd.
Started to k box again. This time was with my NS buddies. Haha, some pro singers and frequent we have over here. Haha definitely look forward to more K Box sessions after work or K Lunch during weekends!
Celebrated Andrew's 21st Bday on Saturday. Haha both our bdays fall on the same day actually, 21st May!! Come to think of it, how shld I actually celebrate my 21st bday aniway?? Hmmm still got another 365 days to think about it. Went down to play Dota after tt with the usual peeps... Played till I became totally worn out due to staying up late the past few nights.
Friday Night... haha well there were initial plans to play mahjong thru the night. But it got called off due to some unforeseen circumstances... Oh well, tough luck another time then... So went out with my NS buddies to Clarke Quay... Wanted to go to palm room but turned out to be crowded... Wanted to go butter factory but turned out our age couldnt meet their limit... So we went to Geylang instead!!! haha went to eat beancurd and yuo tiao.... In comparison to Rochor's Beancurd, I still my rochor beancurd though... The beancurd is much smoother warmer, the you tiao is more fluffy?? yeahhh in all better!! Derrick was the tour guide around geylang. So we walked the alleys of prostitution... They were handful good looking ones, some okay ones and many CMI ones too... Well the transvertites look surprisingly sexier than those of the norm. Haha I aint suggesting anything but that's how I feel in all. Went thru the darkest alley known as the tunnel, which turned out the scariest amongst all coz it's god forsaken dark, so are the people there... The car journey back home was one hella good time man!! thanks Alan, made me feel tt I was in the seat of the car starred in Initial D!! LOL
