Vday came and passed last wednesday... Well I was on pm shift but managed to leave early. Everyone was rushing to meet their loved ones for dinner or what plans they had made. As for me... haha I had nothing planned with anyone just my usual training schedule for runs and swims. While jogging, saw couples having a stroll in the park, sitting under shelter, sending their loved ones home back from their vday outing... ahhh a lovely and charming evening!
Caught Protege on fri night after the Sqn's CNY dinner. Well a good movie actually. Starred by Andy Lau and Daniel Wu. Abt drugs, the abusers, the cops, the drug lord, drug manufacturers. A convincing plot with a built up and touching show. Met up with lz for a swim on saturday morning. It was one great swim since I havent touched the water for quite awhile due to weather and my shifts. Went to town to get whatever leftovers I needed, got a new pair white flip flops!!
The usual visiting on CNY day 1. Met this distant, real pretty cousin from China at my father's side relatives' place. Haha a total breakdown of communications coz her mandarin is so damn fluent and hitched with the local accent while mine was one where the english couldnt translate to mandarin fast enough as my brain couldnt process fast.. You get what I mean dont u... Lol
The other days were plain slacking around and minimal visiting here and there. A relaxed CNY I must say...
