6 August was a very significant for many people, especially for those in the Uniformed Groups. This blessed day of mine, started with a parade in CJC. Wore my Full Uniform, with Glenn's CI rank(Thanks for lending!) Was the timer for the parade, shouted timing until my voice went coarse after singing the national songs out loud too. Timing for the static drills for the markers wasnt tt coordinated due the fact it's a Combined UG parade with NCC, NPCC, GB, BB, GG, Scouts. Took pics after tt, didnt go charity walk instead helped with the shifting of matresses for the Gym ppl. Hahax started gg crazy and sang songs all along until our job as SKF(sai kang force) was needed again at the end.
Went for class outing Lunch at Bugis Seoul Garden. Very crowded coz all schools were dismissed early too. So cant blame la. Ate alot until I became sleepy and groggy. So I started suaning Clara to ease my tiredness. Hahax. sorry Cla, U are used to it anyway right?? ^^ Left for SJI.
Everyone getting started to change for AP. All became frantic about loosing their stuff, "where's my GLOVES???", "Did you see my Beret?", "Oh Shit, my belt loop missing!!", "Take off your watches!", "Help me Button my collar". All these phrases were common and flying across the place. One good thing was that.... HQ Lights were fixed!!! Yay!!! I was polishing my boots coz it got distorted during the mrg's parade. Was assigned to carpark by Mr Ghazali. The ppl directed the Guest of Honour to the wrong parking lot, we were like "Oh Shit, WHOOPZ!!" Saw many old friends along the way into the School. Was glad to see my squadmates around with to watch the Parade.
Took pictures with everyone after the parade. Took Pics with Mr Tang too, and got to see Bro Paul. HO had to tell bro that we werent studying, dont do hw and sleep during lessons, hahax which is somehow true la. Bro Paul is definitely far different from Mr Lui. Was surprised to have Cindy watching the parade with me too, thought she will find these things are a great boredom. So sorry to make u wait so late. Had dinner at KAP then went her house until 1130. Chatted and flipped thru her photos and yearbooks. Didnt manage to finish them coz I was dead tired. Hahax was hilarious to see some of my IJTP friends looking weird when they were in lower sec.
To Mr Ghazali, Big Red, chlim, KW, sec 4s, all the best in your endeavours and hope a bright future will shine upon u. To the new NCOs for 2005, may you make the unit shine and always bear this mind, ur actions determine ur cadets' actions. Always have cadets before self, that's how a true Josephian works. ^^ For your cadets, for yourself, for the school and the Nation!!!
