Approaching the ninth week of 3rd term of schooling. Which marks that I gotta start my serious revision now as I will not cover enough for promos if I start revision late. Anyway, just some updates lately. Trying to find whatever free time i have in the afternoon and evenings to revise what I understand and dont understand (which is alot) Hahax... Hope I can manage to recap all whatever I can... *gulpx*
Went to study with Jen at Woodlands Library last fri evening. Cant believe she was late as she lives so near the library la. Toopid poot poot. Had dinner cum supper at pastamania there, chatted about all shit again la. Hahax..
Saturday, got Street Soccer Competition at SJI. Played the opening match and got thrashed by my batch mates 6-1. Hahax, indeed they were the better soccer players then and now still doing fine too. Heard the schools got alil upset and frustrated with our very own referee, which at some pt quite KAYU la... Anyway, ppl do learn from time to time... SJI got 2nd, so good game!! Went for Drills Comp briefing in the afternoon, have to train the 2 joining this comp coz there's one drill which is not taught to them yet... NPCC Idol, very surprised tt our jammers got 3rd!! hahax, little time practice but good effort too!!
Went to Ubin for Recce on sunday. Walked until like siaoz around Ubin manx esp during the orienteering recce. Saw mudskippers in abundance which was demn cool!! Went places which I havent been in Ubin before, ie the Rock Temple. The Rock in the temple has holes in it like a opening in a bee hive, and said to have some mystical stuff, cant remember what too... Abraisions and foot rot, normal stuff!!
Had S Cube on Monday. The talk was the usual stuff about the need for Defence, how to defend and about NS and stuff. Had one similar talk earlier this year too. Went to SAFTI MI in the afternoon. Was fortunate to go up the tower at OCS, which 10 storeys high and the view was simply fantastic!! Hehex, lucky Mel got to see too coz had a bring a girl up too. Introduced to some recreational activities they had, a nice Officers' Mess, the OCS Tunnel, weapons. Interesting section was the food ration section where the officer cadet entertained us with his Hong Kong accent and his lameless. Kept emphasizing everything is free, all paid by the army. FREE FREE FREE!! Lolx. Saw a quail died after being killed life by the officer during the survival trg segment. Held the dead bird's head with my fingers, and saw the innards of the bird too. Quite disgusting for some, thrilling for others... depends....
