Like what WCI Pui Mun said, "in a blink of an eye, these group people are soon to be graduated to be future leaders". After having lectures and talks on soft skills, Ceremonial Parade, Police Career and Probation, it was a significant and yet solemn moment which J04 went through. That was the Closing Ceremony of CI BTC J04. Some reflections and back tracking during these 16 days.. During one point of time, i drew a tone graph for CI BTC. The 1st few days was a tough stance and strict tone, as time goes it loosened alittle, when ATC came tone started to pick up, at the end of course it fell abit. Thus this resulted in a cosine shaped curve.
J04 will always remembered, whenever CI Nelson asked a question and we reply softly, he will say "sorry?" hahax. Everyone started "sorrying" here and there. And also another fav. phrase "Where is the P in your PICARD??!" hahax PICARD stands for Punctuality, Initiative, Commitment, Attitude, Responsibility and Discipline. I will always remember this as a CI and to share these values to my fellow mates and cadets. Another one will be "I am not convince", "J04, are u ready?"
Can't imagine at about 40min pass noon, we were all so tensed as we received our appointment certificates. Girls un used to wearing the courtshoes led to some falling slightly or missing a step. hahax, demn funny even guys some mis step while going down and up the stairs at the isle. Was very happy and proud to receive my Cert from DSP Geraldine Tan, Commandant of NPCC HQ and Guest of Honour for tt Afternoon. Had a short tea break and took photos with my friends.
Back at Drill Shed, fell down at the drains when i was abt to change in Modular Tent. This was what happened, i tripped over a cable then I fell str8 down and my face hitting a wooden plank and no other injuries just my face. Very Lucky I must say, no bones break or anything. Changed and went for squad Sharing, gave a note for everyone. Clara and Bernice Ma'am gave us a notebook and a cutter each. The notebook was so tt we can use to jote all skills and what we learnt along the way and the cutter was to sharpen our skills and everything we do (not for shaving hahax!) took photos with Nelson Sir and Cynthia Ma'am and our Squad CIIs too. Yupz
Thus from now on, I will be called Probationary Cadet Inspector (PCI) Tan Han Wei Brendan
